How a building supply company became a home services company
RoMac Building Supply started in 1945 as a family-owned lumber yard in Leesburg. Eighty-one years and three generations later, we're still family-owned, and we've grown into the materials and manufacturing partner builders across Central Florida use to get a house built right - lumber, trusses, custom doors and moulding, and everything in between.
Along the way, two things became clear. Homeowners already knew the RoMac name from the builders who used our materials, and many started asking us to do that same work on their own homes. At the same time, we saw a real need in our community: homeowners wanting a trusted local partner to help maintain and upgrade the homes they already lived in, not just build new ones.
That's how RoMac Home Services came about. It's not a new company bolted onto RoMac's name. It's RoMac's next step: dedicated install crews trained specifically for windows, doors, and garage doors, a customer service team built just to support homeowners (not contractor accounts), and home advisors who walk you through a project from the first call to the final walkthrough. The same materials and professional installation RoMac has delivered to builders' job sites since 1945, now delivered directly to your house.
